Jenny ist eine von unseren Hauptfiguren. Wie bei all unseren Charakteren war der Name zuerst da, und mit dem Namen eine bestimmte Assoziation. Via Bildersuche im World Wide Web haben wir dann – sozusagen als Gedankenstütze – versucht herauszufinden, ob es reale Jennys (oder Sigmunds oder andere) gibt, die unsere Fantasie eventuell beflügeln könnten. Letztendlich bleiben die Namen im Film selbst ungenannt und die Figurendesigns müssen für sich selbst sprechen.
Was Jenny angeht, so war sie in unserer Vorstellung von Anfang an barock. Entgegen ihrer couch-potatoe-haften Erscheinung ist sie allerdings eher ein hysterischer Workaholic … und sie hängt einer Obsession hinterher.

Jenny is one of our main protagonists. As with all our characters we had the name first and together with it a particular connotation. Through image search in the world wide web we tried to find out if there exist any real Jennys (or Sigmunds or others for that case) who – as a kind of memory hook – could fire our imagination. Eventually the characters‘ names remain anonymous in the film and the designs must speak for themselves.
Concerning Jenny we thought of her as a rather chubby person from the very beginning. But in spite of her couch potatoe-like appearance she’s in fact a hysterical workaholic … and she’s obsessive.
